Meet the founder.
Experience behind the advice.
Krunal Patel brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare quality improvement, Medicare Star Ratings, member experience and operational performance.
His career includes a Senior Director role at Optum, healthcare risk management and advisory work at FTI Consulting, and quality leadership and project management roles at Anthem, WellCare Health Plans and Freedom Health. This background spans both health plan operations and consulting.
His work has included CMS Star Ratings assessments and improvement strategies, HEDIS initiatives, CAHPS and HOS submissions, and translating performance data into priorities for action.
Krunal holds an Executive MBA from the University of South Florida. He brings that healthcare and business perspective to Astik’s work in strategy, quality and performance.
